Fall is just around the corner, which means hunting season will be starting soon. To make sure you and your child are prepared join us at the Gleason Clinic for our Hunter Safety Course. This is a FREE course that will teach you a number of essential skills for responsible hunting. Do you have a young one who is a hunter? – this course is available to children 10 years of age or older.

Course dates are July 24th, 25th, 27th and 28th beginning at 6:00 p.m. each night at the Gleason Clinic located at 105 North Cedar Street, Gleason. You must attend all four classes to get your certificate. Register today at www.tn.gov/twra to guarantee your spot, as seating is limited.

As a result of attending this course you will receive firearms safety training and an introduction to the responsibilities in the fields of hunter ethics and wildlife management. The course’s main purpose is to reduce the potential for hunting accidents and reduce the number of hunting injuries.

Parents are encouraged to go through the course with their child, as even if they do not wish to become certified, they typically find the class informative and enjoyable.
