Emergency Room visits are expensive and oftentimes unnecessary. The challenge is deciding whether you can wait until your primary care provider’s office is open or if you need to be seen right away. McKenzie Medical Center (MMC) understands that challenge and have established a “Call First Program” to help you make that decision. MMC’s Call First Program allows you to call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and speak to a licensed MMC nurse and/or MMC provider who can help you decide whether you should go to the Emergency Room, an Urgent Care Center, or make an appointment for you to be seen during clinic hours.
