Angela Reisinger, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner joins McKenzie Medical Center. Angela graduated from Union University School of Nursing with a Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner in December 2010. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Union University School of Nursing in December 2005.

Originally from Huntingdon, Angela joined the Air Force soon after High School and spent several years living in various parts of the country such as Connecticut, Maryland, California, Texas and Washington. While in the Air Force she worked as a Pharmacy Specialist (cross-trained as a Medic).  In 1990, she was called back to active duty to participate in Desert Storm.  During this time she was assigned to a med-evac team stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio and helped with triaging and transporting patients between various military bases in both state-side and abroad.

Angela commented, “I am excited to be joining the team at McKenzie Medical Center. It will be good to be back in Carroll County. I am looking forward to seeing familiar faces and the patients I have taken care of in the past. It will also be nice to be closer to my family on a daily basis.”

Angela has two daughters, Kristina and Sarah Reisinger who are both in college.  Kristina is pursuing an education major at UT Martin, and Sarah is a math/education major at MTSU.  In her spare time, Angela enjoys reading. Another favorite pastime is taking weekend trips with her best friend David on their Harley Road King.

In addition to its main clinic, McKenzie Medical Center operates a specialty clinic behind the Hospital in McKenzie, a satellite clinic located in Bruceton and another satellite clinic located in Dresden.
