  1. Why did you choose to be a Nurse Midwife?

It was in nursing school that I first fell in love with obstetrics. I feel it is the one place in medicine where miracles occur all around you on a daily basis. There is something about witnessing a mother see her newborn for the first time. It warms your soul. There is no other place that I had rather be than “with woman” which is the meaning of midwife. It’s not just my profession, it’s my passion.

  1. Is there anything else you would like to add?

At MMC we strive for excellence. Our mission statement is also my personal commitment to my patients…treat our patients like family members. At the end of the day it is about delivering personal and first class care. We strive for excellence…nothing but the best for our patients.
